Hello

Welcome to the Bilingual Tribe ! I'm Kéryann Baral Rimann, a soon-to-be mother of two and a Multilingual Communication student, living in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. I intimately understand the joy and challenges of multilingualism and felt a deep need to connect to a community that shares similar experiences to mine.

As a proud Guadeloupean woman, my primary goal is to ensure that I pass on my rich culture to my children, which includes my native languages: French and Creole.

I've created this forum to serve as a space where multilingual families can come together to connect, share experiences, and provide support to one another. To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members, please to a moment to familiarize yourself to the following guidelines:

  • Constructive Discussion: Engage in thoughtful and constructive discussions. Disagreements are natural, but please express your opinions respectfully and avoid personal attacks or insults.

  • Stay on Topic: Post content that is relevant to the forum's themes and topics. If you have a new topic to discuss, please check if there's an existing thread before starting a new one.

  • No Spam or Self-Promotion: Do not spam the forum with advertisements, self-promotion, or irrelevant content. If you want to share your blog, product, or service, contact the forum administrators for permission or use designated sections, if available.

  • Privacy: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information about yourself or others, including full names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses, without consent.

  • No Hate Speech: Hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. Such content will be removed, and the responsible member may be banned.

  • Report Issues: If you come across a post or member who violates these guidelines, please report it to the moderators using the forum's reporting feature. Do not engage in public disputes.

  • Have Fun: Finally, enjoy your time here! Share your experiences, stories, and knowledge, and make new friends within our multilingual family community.
